Family Circle

The Wolfley family circle is now complete.  I am so proud of my family.  I have been so blessed.  I don't know what these five sweet kids were thinking when they picked me to be their mom.  I hope I can do right by them as they grow and have families of their own.  I know that families are forever.  I'm grateful Rod and I made the choice almost 12 years ago to be sealed so that our family can be together for eternity.

It's a tradition in our family to take pictures just before the baby is blessed in their blessing outfit and the rest of us in white.  It is a reminder to me to strive to do the best I can and keep Christ's commandment so I can be worthy to spend eternity with my family.
Porter Rod Wolfley was blessed Sunday, June 3, 2012 by his daddy.  Grandpa Higbee, Grandpa Wolfley, Uncle Wade, Uncle Bryce, Uncle Wyatt and cousin John were in the blessing circle.

Stay Tuned...

We are getting family pictures Saturday.  Stay Tuned.  They ought to be very interesting with 7 of us.  I'm sure there will be more than a few bloopers!

Head over Heels in Love

Porter Rod Wolfley:
entered the world April 19, 2012
Weighing in at 7 lbs 12.5 oz (my biggest baby!)
19 1/2 in long (although I think he was longer than that)
We got to the hospital at 9 pm.  The Dr. was bored so he told the nurses to pull me out of Triage and get me going.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU (I hate the Triage part!)  They gave me my epidural, broke my water and away we went.
Porter was my slowest labor & delivery. It took almost 3 hrs from check-in to delivery.   He was born at 11:51.  Rod had the nurses cracking up because he wanted him here BEFORE midnight so he could be an Aries like him.  At 12, he would've been a Taurus.  We made it by 9 min!

There were so many women in Mother & Baby that they had to put me in the Pediatric wing.  Not my favorite other than it was quieter over there than in mom/baby.
All the other kids couldn't wait to meet their new brother.  They love him to pieces.  Holy cow!! Are all those kids mine?  Am I really a mother of 5!?  Heaven help them!!
I had the most beautiful bouquet at the hospital.  Ella spent all morning collecting these dandelions for me at Grandma Higbee's house.  Addison gave me the pink blossoms in half a plastic easter egg.
Daddy always picks out the "coming home" outfit and dresses the babies before they are discharged.  We were SO happy to be coming home!!  We cant get enough of this little guy.
We are truly head over heels in love!!!
